A small group is continuing to meet from 9.30 to 10.00 am each Wednesday. If you might like to join us, please speak to Simon Young. This is particularly suitable for people who can’t always get to church; but everyone is welcome!
Our Toddler Group meets every Thursday from 9.30 – 11.00 am.
Do come and join us for play, singing time and refreshments. We are a small friendly group and the church is warm.
No charge but we’re grateful for a small donation towards our expenses. Do come along and try us
Morning Prayer will now be in church on Fridays at 9.00 am starting on Friday 9 April
Our local Funeral Directors, at 3 Aspley Hill are hosting a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care on 12 October from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm, to celebrate the 10th birthday of their Woburn Sands Branch. There will be Children’s activities • Tea and coffee • Cakes • Raffle • Face painting – and more!
On the first Sunday of each month there will be a simple service of Holy Communion
On other Sundays there will be a service of Holy Communion in a modern version with robed choir
Our creche and Sunday school groups meet during this service
The latest guidance from the Church of England suggests that we should now be offering the chalice at services of Holy Communion as we used to do before Covid.
If you do not feel comfortable sharing the chalice, you can simply take the wafer, or you can ask the person presiding to dip your wafer in the wine. (It’s not considered to be hygienic for congregation members to do this themselves).
If you need a gluten free wafer for Holy Communion, please tell one of our sidespeople before the service begins.
